Use Caution

Last week I hopped on the N-Judah and traveled 40 blocks east to check out the Japanese Tea Garden. It’s kind of embarrassing how infrequently we go there considering it’s only 2.5 miles from the apartment. We’re really lucky to live ridiculously close to a lot of cool gardens in Golden Gate Park. Check out their Golden Gate Bloom guide.

Buddah

Sadly, many of the rhododendrons were past their prime.

Tea House

For the first time ever I sat down and drank a cup of tea. I went during the week, so no crowds. It was really very nice to have an entire corner to myself.

UFO Topiary?

Looks like a flying saucer to me. Any guesses on what it might really be? I’m getting excited for the Dahlia Garden in June.

  1. These gardens are so meticulously done and a photographer’s dream. I posted on my visit last summer here:

  4. I think the UFO is supposed to be snow capped Mount Fuji.
