In another effort to find sun we headed to the Balmy Alley murals off of 24th Street in the Mission. No sun, but the murals were really cool. Some even date back to the mid-eighties. It’s one of our favorite mural alleys in town. If you’re in to murals be sure to check out Clarion Alley too. Precita Eye Mural Arts and Visitor Center is another good resource for tracking down sweet murals in the Mission.

where do you find these coolio places??? any chance of gettin a little tour map of sites you have posted recently for those of us who want to do a road trip and are not familiar with them??!!

That’s a great idea! Most of the places we post about are within an hours drive or in San Francisco.
