I’m taking a little break from my Wisconsin blog-o-rama fest (there’s only one, maybe two more left, I promise) to show you some pics of a super sweet private San Francisco garden we had the privilege of visiting back in mid-October. Right away we recognized the sculpture by Viola Frey. This amazing space was created by Aerin Moore and Christian Cobbs of Magic Gardens (their website is rad & they even have a nursery in Berkeley that I’m kind of embarrassed we haven’t visited yet). Here are a few of my favorite pics from the visit, but you can check them all out here.

What a lovely garden that is! I particularly love their arrangement of succulents which are hardy as well as beautiful.
Every season for the past 6 or so years I promise myself to set aside a corner of my garden for succulents but I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. I do believe that your photos inspired me to finally follow, through. Thank you.
By the way, I love your blog and I visit it frequently. I have also incorporated your link within my OrchidCare.org site as a valuable resource for my visitors. Would you be willing to return the favor by placing my link within your Plant Links?

Oh, my goodness…I just planted Aeonium ‘Cyclops’ in a very tight spot. And love that green table too. Thanks for a look at a very cool garden, Megan.

But the Aeoniums make it extra nice
‘Cyclops’ should be good in a small space. It’s very vertical. I was in heaven here. Matti had to drag me out.

I loved that garden. Too bad the other gardens fell through but this one made it worth it. I just watched the slide show on flickr and was transported back again. BTW I just picked up a couple of ‘After Glow’ Echeveria. I think that was the spectacular kind they had out front, wasn’t it?

Yeah, after seeing this garden I’m really curious about the other two we didn’t get to check out. Echeveria ‘After Glow’ is a gorgeous one.
